Each year the Italian American Club of Livonia Charitable Foundation is proud to provide a limited number of academic scholarships to deserving junior high school students entering into their senior year. The scholarship will provide, in whole or in part for tuition, books, fees and expenses associated with attending an institution of higher education. The applicants must meet specific academic guidelines including but not limited to; being of Italian descent, reside within Southeast Lower Michigan and they must attend a college or university which adheres to a traditional educational curriculum.
Recipients of the scholarship are determined by careful examination of the completed application and must meet competitive criteria set forth by the Selection Committee of the IACL Charitable Foundation. The Foundation pays the scholarship to the education institution indicated by the grantee. The Foundation reserves the right to withhold or ask for a refund of the amount awarded should the student receive funds from other grant sources, including university grants or scholarship and/or any other private or public scholarship.
