The Italian American Club of Livonia Charitable Foundation (Foundation) was organized in 2001 exclusively for charitable, educational and welfare purposed for the Italian American Community. To further their mission and for the benefit of the Italian American Community at large, the Foundation also makes contributions to other charitable organizations that qualify as Section 501 (c) (3) foundations.
The activities of the Foundation include granting scholarships to qualifying students of Italian descent residing in Southeast Lower Michigan; helping the aged in the Italian American community and promoting, educating and advancing the culture, history, attributes, achievements and contributions of Italian Americans. Furthermore, the Foundation helps to educate the Italian American youth in the community regarding the culture and history of Italians and encouraging their involvement in charitable and educational endeavors.
